Access Point Support
Artem Access Point
Support
AMP v3.0 supports the Artem family of access points, including SNMP discovery,
critical monitoring parameters, and firmware management.
Avaya Access Point
Support (AP-4, AP-5, AP-6,
AP-8)
AMP v3.0 introduces support for the Avaya AP-4, AP-5, AP-6, and AP-8 wireless
access points. AMP v3.0 also adds support for the Avaya 2.4.11 firmware. HTTP
port can now be configured on Avaya APs (range = 1-65535). AMP v3.0 has been
formally certified through Avaya’s 802.11 Compliance Certification Program.
Colubris Access Point
Support (CN1250, CN320,
CN3200)
AMP v3.0 supports the Colubris Networks CN1250, CN320 and CN3200 wireless
access points. The Colubris access points now support RF scanning for rogue
access points when used in conjunction with the AirWave RAPIDS rogue detection
software module. Colubris AP support has also been enhanced to provide virtual
AP support (multiple VLAN/SSID), IP configuration, transmit power settings,
802.1x, WPA, WPA/PSK, WEP Key rotation interval, client bandwidth monitoring,
and 801.11 counters.
Cisco Aironet Access Point
Support (350 & 1200 IOS)
AMP v3.0 supports the Cisco Aironet 350 & 1200 wireless access points with IOS
operating system. AMP v3.0 now supports IOS firmware versions 12.2(15)XR and
12.2(15)XR1. AMP v3.0 also supports the “Role in Radio Network” setting on the
GroupÆRadio page and displays all client devices on both interfaces of dual radio
Cisco IOS access points.
Cisco IOS Advanced
Configuration
AMP v3.0 provides the ability to configure Cisco IOS access points by defining the
startup-config of the AP rather than using AMP’s standard user interface. This
gives administrators the ability to configure and audit every
configurable setting on
an IOS AP. The configuration page is located at GroupsÆIOS Advanced.

Enterasys Access Point
Support (Roamabout 3000)
AMP v3.0 supports the Enterasys Roamabout 3000 wireless access point.
ProCurve Networking by HP
Access Point Support (420
and 520)
AMP v3.0 supports the ProCurve Networking by HP 420 and 520 wireless access
points.
Proxim Access Point
Support (AP-4000 and
WavePoint-II)
AMP v3.0 supports the Proxim AP-4000 and WavePoint-II wireless access points.
AMP v3.0 also adds support for the Proxim 2.4.11 firmware. HTTP port can now be
configured on Proxim APs (range = 1-65535). NOTE: Proxim firmware version
2.4.11 requires the AP to be rebooted to make WEP changes take effect. AMP has
now been configured to automatically reboot Proxim APs.
Symbol Access Point
Support
AMP v3.0 provides enhanced support for Symbol access points, including 3.70 –
3.72 firmware, AP statistics through Symbol’s Enterprise MIB, and antenna
diversity settings on Symbol 4121 access points.
