installationprogramtostart.Formoreinformationaboutusingtheinstallationwizard,see

IfAutorunisdisabled,followthesesteps:
a. In
WindowsExplorer,navigatetoyourCD‐ROMdrive.
b. IntheWindows\VMdirectory,double‐clickinstall.exe.TheIntroductionpageofthe
RASMinstallationwizardappears.
2. ClickNexttodisplaytheChooseInstallationTypepageoftheinstallationwizard,andgoto
“UsingtheInstallationWizard”onpage 1‐8.
UNIX and Linux
TounpackfilesonUN IXandLinuxsystems:
1. Loginassuperuser.
2. InserttheRASMCDintotheCD‐ROMdrive.
3. FortheplatformonwhichyouareinstallingRASM,clicktheappropriateInstallerlink.
4. Savetheinstallationbinarytoadirectory.
5. Openashellwindow.
6. Usethecdcommandtogoto
thedirectoryinwhichyousavedtheinstallationbinary.
7. Intheshellwindow,typesh./install.bin.TheIntroductionpageoftheRASMinstallation
wizardappears.
8. ClickNexttodisplaytheChooseInstallationTypepageoftheinstallationwizard,andgoto
“UsingtheInstallationWizard”onpage 1‐8.
