IDsandswitchpriorityvalues.ThiscommandwillnotcleartheIPaddressnorwillitremove
anappliedadvancedfeaturelicense.
•UseclearipaddresstoremovetheIPaddressofthestack.
•Useclear
licensetoremoveanappliedli censefromaswitch.
Configurationparametersandstackinginformationcanalsobeclearedonthemasterunitonly
byselectingthe“restoreconfigurationtofactorydefaults”optionfromthebootmenuonswitch
startup.Thisselectionwillleavestackingprioritiesonallotherunits.

Feature Support
BecausetheSecureStackB2andB3switcheshavedifferenthardwarearchitectures,the
functionalitysupportedbythetwoswitchtypesisdifferent.Whenthetwotypesofswitchesare
mixedinastack,thefunctionalitysupportedwillbethelowestcommondenominatoroffeatures
supportedonallplatforms.Refertothefirmware
ReleaseNotesforinformationaboutsupported
features.
Configuration
Common Firmware Version
MixedstackingisonlysupportedbySecureStackB2firmwareversion4.00.xxandhigher.Inorder
tomixSecureStackB3switcheswithB2switches,youmustinstalltheB2firmware(version4.00.xx
orhigher)ontheB3switch.Youcaninstall theB2firmwarefirst,withtheB3switchinstand‐alone
mode,oryoucanaddtheB3switchtothestackandthencopytheB2firm waretotheB3switch
usingthesetswitchcopy‐fwcommand(page2‐9).AftercopyingtheB2firmwaretotheB3switch,
youmustresetthestack.
Switch Manager
ItisrecommendedthataSecureStackB3switchbemadethemanagerofamixedstack.Usetheset
switchmovemanagementcommand(page2‐10)tochangethemanagerunit.
